THE VALUE OF GENDER-ENVIRONMENT STATISTICS TO PROPEL SDG ACTION

Key progress, lessons learned and remaining challenges to close the data gap

Identifying and closing gender data gaps, which are pervasive across the environmental sector, is critical for propelling gender-responsive action and realizing the SDGs.

On the opening day of CSW62, join IUCN and UN Environment, together with Government and Civil Society leaders, to discuss gender-environment linkages and the challenges and opportunities for enhancing sustainable development with gender statistics.

Interventions from the floor on specific experiences and strategies will be welcome.
