Climate Justice and Women’s Rights: A Guide to Supporting Grassroots Women's Action
Also available in Spanish
This guide, which emerged out of the Women and Climate Summit held in Indonesia in 2014, aims to educate the funding community about the importance of and need for funding women’s grassroots efforts to combat climate change. It includes information describing how women are disproportionately affected by climate change and their relative lack of voice in climate change-related decision making. It also provides guidelines on how to connect donors with climate change women’s initiatives and case studies that highlight the impact such funds can have at the local, regional and global level.
