GLA and gender webinar: Mainstreaming gender in the project cycle
This webinar was held on August 14, 2018
The Green Livelihoods Alliance (GLA) works towards sustainable and inclusive governance of forested landscapes in nine focus countries in South America, Africa and Southeast Asia. The GLA prioritizes the inclusion of disadvantaged groups in capacity building and the development, decision-making and implementation of lobby and advocacy strategies. As such, gender considerations are an essential part of GLA’s inclusive approach, and consequently, in the success of the GLA Programme.
This webinar features a presentation by Jackie Siles, Senior Gender Programme Manager at IUCN, and outlines key considerations to mainstream gender throughout the project cycle, including through a gender analysis, indicators, budgeting, and activities. This webinar is the second of two gender webinars facilitated by IUCN GGO for the GLA Programme, and is available in three languages.
