Webinar to support gender analysis in the Shared Resources, Joint Solutions (SRJS) program
Shared Resources, Joint Solutions (SRJS) is an expansive program that engages 16 countries and focuses on increasing food and water security and climate resilience.
Gender equality and inclusivity principles are key, cross-cutting goals of the SRJS program. IUCN GGO supports country partners through various technical advising and capacity building activities to ensure these principles are reflected in program interventions.
Prior to designing and planning activities to implement over the coming years, country partners developed gender analyses to better understand the localized and specific gender issues in resource security and conservation, as well as develop recommendations for gender-responsive program initiatives. This webinar intended to build the gender capacity of country partners and provide resources and guidance on developing an effective, inclusive and comprehensive gender analysis.
The webinar was conducted four times–twice in English, once in Spanish and once in English with French support–to accommodate the 16 partners involved in the process. A recording of one of the webinars in English is available below and a Spanish version is available here.
