The Blue Action Fund has released a call for case studies on gender in coastal/marine resource management. Though the call focuses on the West Indian Ocean region, cases from other regions with similar contexts and challenges are also invited. These submissions will support the Gender Mainstreaming Guide for the Blue Action Fund’s activities.
The development of this Guide has been inspired in part by research by IUCN and USAID through its partnership on Advancing Gender in the Environment (AGENT) in Gender in Fisheries – A Sea of Opportunities, a guide on gender and wild-caught fisheries.
Submissions are due 15 May 2020 and the form can be accessed here.
