Briana Mawby is a consultant for the GGO, where she supports the Advancing Gender in the Environment (AGENT). She has previously served as a Hillary Rodham Clinton Research Fellow at the Georgetown Institute for Women, Peace and Security and a consultant for the International Organization for Migration, World Bank, and Institute for the Study of International Migration. Her research and publications focus on the intersection of gender, environmental issues, and peace and security issues.
She earned an M.A. in Conflict Resolution from Georgetown University and a B.A. in International Affairs from George Washington University. She holds a certificate in Refugees and Humanitarian Emergencies from the Institute for the Study of International Migration.
