Celia Steele has over 25 years of experience as an administrative assistant in international environmental and conservation organizations, working in areas involving productive projects, agriculture, gender, and the environment. Since 2009, she has been the GGO’s Administrative Assistant, coordinating project budgets, travel and logistics office-wide. She began working as an administrative assistant in IUCN’s Department of Social Equity, performing administrative and logistics activities, including seminars, conferences and supporting global conservation, among others. Celia is based in Costa Rica at the ORMAC office, is fluent in both English and Spanish, and studied law. When she is not at work, Celia enjoys spending time at the beach, riding her bike, reading, and laughing with friends.
