She describes the change in working methods for herself, and for human rights defenders more generally, in the immediate term brought about by the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.

Mainstreaming gender in environment statistics for the SDGs and beyond: Identifying priorities in Asia and the Pacific

This paper provides an overview of recent initiatives to measure the gender-environment nexus, identifies priorities and takes stock of related data and capacity gaps in the Asia-Pacific region. The paper puts forward a proposal for a Gender-Environment Indicator Set in Asia and the Pacific, which includes indicators from the global Sustainable Development Goals framework and beyond, capturing issues of particular relevance for the gender-environment nexus in the region.

Advancing Gender in the Environment: Accelerating impact for equality and sustainability – A review of AGENT’s reach and results (October 2018-September 2019)

The work presented in this AGENT annual review for the 2019 Fiscal Year (October 1, 2018 – September 30, 2019) demonstrates that investments in gender equality and women’s empowerment strengthen Bureau and Mission-level capacities to meet USAID’s objectives and mandates on gender equality, and compel wider stakeholder action.

Gender and climate change in the United States: Reading of existing research

Report that reviews existing literature on the effects of climate change in the United States with a gender lens, highlighting how gender shapes experiences of climate change. The report explores the gender dimensions of the health impacts of climate change, including increased GBV, the effects of natural disasters, the employment in climate-affected sectors, the perceptions, attitudes, knowledge and behaviours regarding climate change and the environment and the gaps in literature.

Summary of the draft assessment report of UNHCR and Save the Children-UK regarding sexual violence and exploitation of refugee children and other children of concern in the Mano River Sub Region in West Africa. Initial findings show high levels of risk and vulnerability within family settings and the wider context of the camp and surrounding communities. Additionally, allegations of abuse were made against individuals from a range of humanitarian agencies. The report also provides a set of recommendations for action.
