Women in Northeastern Uganda can experience psychological, emotional and physical violence when asserting their land rights. See how this RISE grants challenge project funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and led by Trócaire, in partnership with Land Equity Movement of Uganda (LEMU) and Soroti Catholic Diocese Integrated Development Organization (SOCADIDO), implement the Securing Land Rights and Ending Gender Exclusion Project. This project addressed power imbalances between men and women to prevent and respond to GBV, and improved land tenure and property rights in Uganda.
