Building safety and dignity towards green futures
At the information session for the 2023 call for proposals of the Resilient, Inclusive and Sustainable Environments (RISE) grants challenge IUCN shared information about the RISE grants challenge, thematic priorities in 2023 and how to apply. Questions regarding the application process were answered during this session.
The RISE grants challenge aims to fund projects that address gender-based violence that is occurring within and linked to environment and climate-related sectors. In 2023, the RISE grants challenge seeks to fund applications that adapt evidence-based strategies to prevent, mitigate and respond to the risk of gender-based violence related to climate and conservation sectors, with a focus on climate change mitigation, nature-based solutions and natural climate solutions.
The RISE grants challenge is funded by USAID and implemented through its partnership with IUCN on Advancing Gender in the Environment (AGENT), which houses the gender-based violence and environment linkages Center (GBV-ENV Center). This webinar is part of the GBV-ENV Center webinar series.
