Since the murder of Berta Cáceres in 2016, IM-Defensoras has been compiling data on violence against women environmental human rights defenders in the Central America. This latest report presents data from 2016 to 2021 and trends in the region. IM-Defensoras also provides support to women human rights defenders in Mesoamerica through strengthening their networks and connections with other human rights organisations and providing solidarity and visibility to the work of these women in the protection of human rights.
