Synopsis

The Georgetown Institute for Women, Peace and Security provides an overview of the linkages within the climate-gender-conflict nexus. It explores the climate change and conflict nexus with a gender lens, identifies gaps in frameworks, policies, knowledge and evidence, and presents best practice studies from Colombia, Sudan and Nepal. The report calls for policymakers and practitioners to invest in research and policy on the nexus to build evidence on women’s meaningful engagement for successfully addressing these challenges.
