United Nations Human Rights Council Resolution: Recognizing the contribution of environmental human rights defenders to the enjoyment of human rights, environmental protection and sustainable development

United Nations Human Rights Council Resolution recognising the contribution of environmental human rights defenders in the defence of the environment. It recognises the empowerment of women and their role as managers of natural resources and agents of change and the intersecting dimensions of the discrimination and violence they face, including gender-based violence (GBV). It calls upon States to take steps to protect women environmental human rights defenders.
