On March 6, 2024, the USAID Women’s Economic Empowerment Community of Practice (USAID WEE CoP) organized an event titled “Exploring Gender-Based Violence and Women’s Economic Empowerment in Environmental Settings”. This learning session showcased insights and fresh evidence stemming from the RISE grants challenge, which is focused on tackling gender-based violence (GBV) within climate-related sectors. Panelists included fellow RISE grants challenge implementers Samantha Munag’andu, Dr. Trang Nguyen, and Tzinnia Carranza López.
