What’s in it for us? Gender issues in Uganda’s oil and gas sector

Research to establish baseline data on the quality of change in the livelihoods of communities near oil exploitations in Uganda. Findings indicate that if gender relations remain, women benefit less than men from oil exploitation. Additionally, the report documents linkages between oil exploitation and increased gender-based violence (GBV).
