Power Africa is a U.S. government-led partnership coordinated by USAID.
Power Africa launched the Women in African Power (WiAP) network to advance the participation and representation of women within the energy sector across the African continent.
The Women in African Power webinar series aims to share knowledge and build the professional skills of women active in Africa’s energy sector.
Resilience is the ability to manage stress, to cope positively, bounce back from adversity and achieve despite challenging conditions. It is a set of skills that are much needed in life, at work and in the 21st century, where uncertainty and impermanence have come to define so much in our lives. In this webinar participants receive guidance to strengthen skill sets and increase resilience, to further career paths in the energy sector.
The webinar was moderated by Ana Rojas, IUCN, and included the following presentations:
- Charity Wanjiku, Strauss Energy Ltd.
- Bertha Dlamini, ABB South Africa, African Women in Energy and Power (AWEaP) and Gen X Theatre Africa (Gen X)
